Indian Creek Foundation is dedicated to providing  opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to live in and enrich the community throughout their lives. 

We are currently seeking  FULL TIME & PART TIME Direct Care Professionals to assist individuals in our Residential Group Homes located throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

Residential Home Care Full Time Schedules:  (FULL TIME )

  ***Please note we are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift positions!***


2nd Shift: Tuesday through Friday 2:30pm 11pm, Saturday's 9am 11pm OR

                Sunday's 9am-11pm, Monday through Thursday 2:30pm - 11pm


3rd Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 11pm-9am (awake & asleep)

                Sunday- Wednesday 11pm-9am


Essential Duties:

Our Direct Care Professionals provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation and community outings. Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide individualized attention, which encourages each individual's ability to maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well being.

  • Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each individual in the delivery of services to them.

  • Interact with individuals in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.

  • Provide medical assistance such as administering medication, First Aid and CPR as trained by the agency.

  • Maintain a home-like environment in the Group Home by assisting with housekeeping, laundry and grocery shopping.

  • Accurately completes all in-house documentation and reports of individuals progress

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training:   High School Diploma; GED; Must be 18 years of age

Skill(s): Ability to read and write in English, moderate mathematics skills required; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills;


Satisfactory completion of post-offer pre-employment physical exam and drug test as required.

Completion and clearance of a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance.

*Must have a valid driver's license with a clear three-year driving record.


Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the physical duties required. Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs and torso in providing various care; and operate an vehicle. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including transferring of client.

Experience: Previous experience providing hands-on care to adults with developmental disability preferred, but not required.
