General Responsibilities:  Provides clinical supervision to Therapeutic Support Specialists; Acts a liaison between Managed Care Companies, Clinical Team, families, staff, and contractors; Monitors clinical quality of BHS program; Provides administrative oversight to clinicians and staff.

Education/Training:  Master's degree in education, psychology, social work or related field; Knowledge of the philosophy, process, and goals of BHRS/Wraparound Services

Skill(s): Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and leadership skills; ability to complete internal reviews and audits; excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate conflict resolution; ability to facilitate effective team communication; Intermediate Computer Skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software. 

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience working with children with developmental disabilities; One year of supervisory experience preferred. 

Essential Duties

  1. Provides clinical supervision through regularly scheduled team meetings, coordination of supervision and training needs, site visits, and clinical consultation for challenging cases.
  1. Prepares and oversees weekly and/or monthly group supervision meetings based on program needs, and uses various curriculum designed to enhance the clinicians' skills in the field.
  2. Monitors clinical quality of the program including behavior support plans, functional behavioral assessments, crisis plans, clinical progress updates, progress notes, outcome measurements and assessment tools, file audits, and general family satisfaction.
  3. Provides relevant, meaningful training for TSS on a consistent basis.
  4. Documents TSS training and supervision to fulfill regulation requirements.
  5. Reviews TSS progress notes to ensure they are compliant with BHRS billing expectations.
  6. Coordinates the hiring process, supervises and acts as a liaison between contractors and TSS.
  7. Coordinates and provides initial training for TSS, which includes state mandated and managed care requirements.
  8. Participate in monthly supervisory team meetings and one-on-one meetings with BHRS Clinical Coordinator.
  9. Provides consistent feedback to TSS through periodic and annual performance reviews.
  10. Attends meeting with MCO's regarding clinical quality of program and actively participates in the Clinical Quality Collaborative with the MCO.

Other Duties  

  1. Assist the coordinator and other supervisors with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects.
  2. Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.
  3. Attend additional training required by program/department. Maintain current training certifications as needed for programs.
