General Responsibilities

To plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. The BCBA develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team members, related services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate.

Standard Requirements

  1. Supports the Mission and values of Indian Creek Foundation and the wraparound program.
  2. Ability to work flexible hours as determined by program needs, which may include nights and weekends.
  3. Satisfactory completion and clearance of yearly criminal background check, child abuse clearance and FBI Clearance; valid driver's license with a clear three-year driving record.
  4. Ability to comply with HIPAA standards.
  5. Ability to file Childline reports as mandated by the Child Protective Service Law. Complete required documentation for the Managed Care Company and agency.
  6. Engages in professional demeanor as a representative of Indian Creek Foundation.
  7. Exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
  8. Demonstrates knowledge and implementation of CASSP principles

Essential Duties

  1. Provide direct clinical services in the role of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
  2. Provide behavior support services to designated caseload, in accordance to the prescribed hours of services
  3. Build strong therapeutic relationships with consumers
  4. Provide services in each individual's home, school or other community settings
  5. Complete functional behavior assessment
  6. Provide caregiver training in behavior support plan, and update as needed
  7. Provide ongoing consultation and data collection for designated caseload 
    1. Ensure treatment is goal focused
    2. Thoroughly document services provided in progress notes
    3. Evaluate ongoing needs of consumers and make referrals as necessary
    4. Provide clinical support to Therapeutic Support Specialist (TSS) and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
    5. Maintain clinical skills in the field of Dual MH/ID diagnosis and behavior supports by completing training requirements to maintain licensure, as appropriate.

      Basic Qualifications

      Education/Training: Masters Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or related Human Service Degree, Licensed Behavior Specialist (BSL), Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

      Skill(s): Strong oral and written communication skills, behavior support planning background, confident in a broad array of clinical approaches, supervision and leadership ability, proficient in Microsoft programs.

      Experience: Minimum 1 year experience with intellectual or developmental disabilities, minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience, behavior specialist experience.
